I’ve always liked Goo-Gone to remove the sticky mess left behind by labels. This morning, I needed to clean up some PVC ductwork with no Goo-Gone to be seen. Then I had a Brilliant Idea^TM

As you may know, I think WD-40 is the ultimate Cosmoline remover since it’s a gentle solvent (not a lubricant). So I tried it on the label goo and sure enough, with a little rubbing WD-40 completely removed the goo without scarring the PVC at all.
