New Sawstop
After a year or so of debate with myself, I’ve finally landed on the side of getting a Sawstop. A local story of a severe tablesaw injury pushed me over the edge and made me realize that even a small accident would be financially catastrophic for our family. In that context, a few thousand dollars seems like cheap insurance. And unlike actual insurance, I get a tool that I’ll use almost daily.
By coincidence (or maybe not) the most recent issue of Woodworker’s Journal arrived yesterday, with a review of ten tablesaws. Of the group, the Sawstop PCS was rated as the best saw.
So, in a few hours, I’ll be picking up my brand spankin’ new Sawstop PCS.
